This is a page dedicated to my dad, trained for the mission field in Cape Verde and Guinea Bissau by Rees Howells.
 
Every successful ministry has intercessors and as well as the intercession of the Bible College of Wales my dad had his sister Tessie who wrote this letter to him before his departure to Africa.
 
 
 
 
 
My Dad's Intercessor Tessie who later married Ted who like my dad was a Pastor of Aintree Gospel Mission. Both knew Gladys Aylward who stayed at their house in Old Roan, Liverpool some years ago.
 
 
I remember as a child my mum taking me to see Gladys Aylward minister at the Southport Convention. I was on the balcony and so I could see her standing on a soap box so she could be seen over the pulpit!

My dad gave up his life at the Keswick Convention, a decision that took him to Swansea and the training of Rees Howells to minister the Gospel in Africa.
